From the outside, it doesn't look like much. The $4 entrance fee (after student discount) fooled me even more. After entering, I was immediately enchanted. Everything is presented so well. We were very pleased with the excellent collections that the musuem had. We were particularly pleased with the exhibit on the Halifax explosion, the largest man-made explosion before the atomic bomb. Our trip was cut short though because of rowdy children. During the summer, many local day camps come to visit the musuem and it is overrun with under-chaperoned children... more
