It's nice in there, with a nice view. I think their haddock is harbour pollack, at least it tasted like it. One would think their seafood would be of higher class considering they are pushing a lot of these dishes on tourists. Wait staff was excellent, cannot complain there - but the food was pretty basic. Fries were good, but...

Casino Nova Scotia is a nice place, on the waterfront and boardwalk; great location. The Casino itself is clean and good atmosphere, but it's nothing special or over the top like a Vegas style casino. It has a couple of restaurants inside, but there are many other better restaurants outside around the casino.

I have to say the wait staff there at the buffet are better then some of the people I have had wait on me in high end restaraunts . We had Nicholas as our waiter , he was fast and friendly then we lucked out and had him the next morning when we went for brunch buffet . The buffet...

Nothing exciting here. Apart from being located on the Halifax waterfront, it is just a plain casino with nothing to make it stand out.

There has been a shift, for the worst, at Casino Nova Scotia (Halifax). Fewer tables, more video poker machines, drab atmosphere; no music, not a lot of food variety, etc. I was there on a Friday evening and it was quite quiet. The average age I'd say was about 75. We stopped by while visiting on a cruise it is at the end of the pier where the ships dock so we took the long walk. The exchange rate was not good so even if you won you lost.... Don't think we would go again maybe the walk but not the Casino.
