This was our first time visiting the Market, and we loved it. Great selection and variety, lots to choose from, the place was packed! So much to see and so many new things to try. Looking forward to going back when we are in the area again.

The Farmers Market at the Halifax Seaport offers a variety of vendors selling local arts and crafts, organic cheeses and meat products, fresh seafood and baked goods, and a number of small coffee shops and eateries. Quiet on weekdays, the market comes to life on weekends with crowds of locals stocking up on fresh foods and enjoying the community experience....

A great place to see artisans and buskers. The food choices range from many different ethnic choices to down home country cooking. However on Saturdays it is a people place so be prepared for crowds.

There are many fantastic products at this farmers markets from woolens and trinkets to fresh vegetables and foods. Fantastic atmosphere with many musicians tucked into corners of the winding stone walkways. It's hard to walk away without buying something, but don't forget to go hungry. There are very good prepared food options as well.

Lines were incredibly long for all food vendors. I'd recommend going back when it was less busy, but since it is only open Saturday morning I assume it is...

The Halifax Farmer's Market began in 1750 and is the longest-running market in North America. For foodies, it can't be beat. Have a look!

We decided to check this out our visit to halifax based on the previous reviews. It is a kinda of a hippie place, but there are numerous vendors down to business selling their wares.. everything from fresh local meats to veggies to coffee to pastries to plants, this place has a little bit of everything. One reviewer mentioned going to...
