I took the trip in 2004. Going up above the tree line is pretty neat and it gives you an insight into the far north of Ontario. I enjoyed this trip but I think it is a little overblown. It is NOT a trip to Northern Canada by any means and you will NOT see any polar bears. Still, it is a good ride for train enthusiasts and you do go all the way to saltwater (part of James Bay). The stunted arctic forest is somewhat interesting... more
