Many shops border the road leading into the Tyendenaga Reserve which have many native crafts for sale and friendly people. We go there quite often as cigarettes and gas are extremely cheap and you do not need an Indian status card to buy these or crafts. Worth checking it out. Take the Marysville turn off on the 401, Head North...

I really like the people there...I get gas there and always nice customer service. The community in Tyendinaga seem to take care of each other!

Our grandchildren enjoyed this very much. It was their first visit to a Native Canadian reserve. The gas prices were certainly great. We don't smoke but those prices were excellent too. A good experience.
