although the experience of going through the rapids is exhilarating. The trip only went through the rapids 3 times. took 4 family members with me, which cost close to $300. I think the whirlpool jet is nice but it's definitely overpriced and overhyped. It's 57 bucks for a one hour boat tour, 15 minutes of which is actually spent in the whirlpool. It takes about 20 minutes to get to the whirlpool and 20 minutes to come back. When I went there, we went through the rapid 4 times only.... more

We did this tour June 3rd when the crowds are not so huge and we chose the dome boat because the water is pretty cold this time of year and we didn't care to end up with icicles on our noses. Noticed a group of teens coming back from the open jet boat and they were very wet but happy.... more

We did this trip last year when visiting Niagra-on-the-Lake (although I had previously gone on it years before from here too).
