My girlfriend and I stopped by here when we were visiting Ottawa and we found that it was not worth the time. There is a huge problem with homeless and other seedy looking people right outside the door we entered. Not exactly the kind of thing you want to pass through.... Definitely use the Mackenzie/King entrance. There is a central OC bus stop there. There are more than a few people wandering around other entryways in a desperate state and no real security presence. There's a big problem with drug soliciting and loitering right at the front door on Rideau street, there's garbage all over the place, and is grossly overpriced! The Rideau center is pretty good. It has all the popular and "in" stores as well as something for the older people. Inside the mall is excellent but they should do some work on the outside...all sorts of garbadge and homeless people is kinda scary because you get harrassed by them as you walk out. more
