Beautiful buildings, park-like atmosphere. NO entry fee, I was not in the mood for HISTORY so we did not go in. From the outside though, it was beautiful. More

It is a tradition for us to go on Parliament Hill every Christmas. During that time of year it is very quiet. You can walk around, there is a beautiful view on the river behind the Library building. You see it on TV, or in pictures, but nothing compares to in real life. .. the parliments are an amazing site to see for anyone who travels to Ottawa! More

We picked up the self guided tour brochure from the info. tent and just wandered around. Nice to see the info plaque on the street opposite of the building you are looking at, lets you know the history etc. More

In the summer, take advantage to visit the Hill for the changing of the guards. Walking in the back of the Parliament Buildings you have an awesome view of the Ottawa River with the Museum of Civilization on the Quebec side. and other interesting sites. More

Visitors always enjoy seeing the Parliment buildings and especially the Library and Peace Tower. Worth the short wait for a tour. More

The Parliament Buildings are beautifully maintained and loaded with Canadian history. Tour guides point out the highlights in French or English. It's a must if you are Canadian or visiting Canada for the first time. Located right down town near numerous other attractions. More
