This is the best place to rent equipment for the canal. Whether it be ice skates/sleighs in winter or canoes/pedalos in summer this place has them. The building also has 2 restaurants. 1 a grill which is good food and the other a Mexican which i have never been to. more

The place needs to be fixed up some.The water is dirty (The lake) and the marina cafe is a must miss. For a real marina experience try Pirate Cove or Hurst Marina. Dow's Lake is terrible by comparision.And where's the website? In today's age not having a website is just sad. more

Overall the facility is dirty. The rates for paddle boat rentals is very very expensive. Parking is 2$ per half hour.Not worth the visit. more

Poorly run and managed. Imagine charging 1 buck to simply put on some skates. Tourist Trap at it's best. In the summer the staff is rude and the service is so slow and to top it off, the food is tasteless. Hopefully I'll drive by and see a sign that says "Under New Management" more
