Located on the waterfront, this small gallery offers great views of the water, and you're always made to feel welcome by the (volunteer?) staff. There are long ramps down to the basement, the walls along the ramps lined with local art, and several small galleries in the basement, again featuring local artists and parts of the permanent collection. I've visited this place several times over several years whenever I'm in Peterborough. They have an interesting display of artwork each time I visit. There's a program promoting private art classes with children and displays some of the highlights, some are amusing to look at. It's great to see art being promoted at an early age.
