This little museum is free (donation at the desk - and they are not pushy), and gives a good history of the area and the industries that built Peterborough and the surrounding area. While this is not big or over elaborate, its an opportunity for all ages (they have kids in mind with some activities) to learn a little history.... More

This little museum can be a tad hard to find; it's up the hill from the lift locks, an enjoyable but steep walk if you're not driving. Yes, it's small, and it's not overly sophisticated, but it has such a feeling of being genuine and being cared for by the (volunteer?) staff. There are three galleries, two of which are... More

Some cool displays but I feel it is very small so spend your $$ wisely. More

An intimate museum with top quality displays and artifacts recounts the history of Peterborough worthwhile for both local residents and tourists. And its free ( there is a donation box). More
