From downtown through about Bloor st., Yonge St. is an experience and has something for everyone- local bars, fast food, regular merchandice stores, hotels, etc. Roughly equivalent in feeling to the village area in NYC (around NYU), you find a mix between regular people, alternative styles and the more insane.
