This area is changing and is becoming less Greektown and more other types of trendy stores. Gone are the old style restaurants when you went into the kitchen a picked your meal. There are still Greek restaurants but more upscale. More

Some very strong restaurants in this neighbourhood - Globe Bistro, Christina's, Mezes along with a few others. But lots of mediocre Greek places serving the same stuff. Great for people-watching drinking on a terrace on a sunny weekend afternoon. More

The flavour and culture that is Greek Town really need to be experienced close up. Buy fresh produce from the vendors or enjoy delightful dishes from the many fine establishments offering from the very traditional (some for the more adventurous) to slightly modified options for the less quizzical palate.
