Great places to eat: mother's dumplings, pho hung, the dumpling house, various bubble tea and chinese bakeries. I am always around this area More

Spadina Avenue is the widest street in Toronto. It needs to be because there are so many varied shops and businesses located there. Visit the buildings in the Garment District - particularly the Art Deco gem, Balfour Building at Adelaide and Spadina - once a sweatshop (where my grandparents met), now a warren of media companies. Then walk north to... More

I love Spadina ave going back to my childhood . My grandparents lived on Oxford St almost at the corner of Spadina. Later I worked at Queen and Spadina and I still love to walk the avenue north or south I find it always interenting. More

While I'm told that Mississauga and Agincourt now have the best Chinatowns, Spadina is very central and great for shopping, dining and people watching. Pho Hung has amazing Vietnamese soups for cheap. Both sides of the street are lined with shops selling food, goods, imports and everything in between. Great for young kids looking for cheap, interesting souvenirs. Kensington Market... More

Board the Spadina streetcar at the Spadina subway station and ride it all the way down to the Lakeshore. If you have a day pass, just hop off and hop on when you see something that interests you. The pass is just $10.50 and good all day. On weekends, passes are good for families. More

We regularly travel into the city to hit Spadina for fresh fruit and veggies. You can find rare fruits like passion fruit, dragon fruit and guava at a rediculously cheap prices! Even if you don't know what you're looking for, it's a great day spent looking and absorbing culture. More

Spadina Streetcars can connect you to anywhere, one can sit back watch China town get the smells of the place, watch the older chinese generation hauling their fresh produce, and once in a while hear them argue with the TTC driver about their transfer, what do you mean it is 3 weeks old, driver give to me, love it!! Try getting on the streetcar. The only way you can get on is to do what all the other passengers do - be really ignorant and push and shove your way on. More

This is a terrible area to go, you could fall and injure yourself very easily. The bus tracks are everywhere you go, and getting off the bus on to these tracks are very dangerous. More
