The food here seems to have gone downhill a bit in recent years - moroccan veggie stew was very dry and not tasty, with just half an apricot: it used to be far better. Better drink lots of the lovely beer first, then you'll probably not notice it... More

I've got a love/hate thing going with C'est What. There is no matching them on Ontario Craft Beer. But the food is bland, boring and overpriced. In summary unsatisfying. Get something to eat at one of the great restaurants in the area - and then grab some beers. And the service often does have an odd negative vibe to it.... More

Love the atmosphere in this place and the beer selection but the food sucks. I had the jerk chicken roti and it was the blandest thing I've ever eaten. Tasted like some hippy food you'd buy out of a van at a Dead show. Two or three pieces of chicken and a bunch of mushy vegatables. No rice, no cheese,... More

We always try to visit C'Est What? when in Toronto. Still one of our favourite bars: great cask beers, very good food and helpful and pleasant staff. Couldn't ask for more. More

The title of my review sums up the top six reasons for visiting C'est What? The kitchen is pub food of decent but unexceptional quality. But the selection of fresh, local craft beers is unsurpassed. The cask (real ale) selections alone are worth a visit. And it's one of the only craft beer destinations in Toronto that keeps the prices... More

Let me start by saying I love this place! It is a beer geek (like me) heaven,. Great selection of Ontario micro' s on tap, amd the rotating cask selection is always unique and excellent. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. I have always enjoyed the food, and the yam frites are decicious as was the roti! Great beer destination,... More

C'est What has a fab beer selection and I think this establishment has been instrumental over the last 10 years in advancing the cause of local micros. The staff are friendly and knowledgable about the beer. It is unfortunate that these two elements don't carry over to their food; hence the "average" rating. I think they need to take a... More

Things must have changed since the previous posts. I did not observe rudeness of any kind from anyone. I like that the menu choices were different from the ordinary... Bison burger as opposed to your run-of-the-mill regular burger. It was a bit crowded due to the beer tasting event but definitely a place I would visit again. More

This pub/restaurant carries about 20 beers on tap and all are preservative/chemical free and brewed in Ontario, most in Toronto, and some at C'est What. Friendly staff and tasty beer. More

C'est What used to be one of my favourite places in Toronto - the beer selection is great, and the food is a step up from the usual pub fare. I live close by and used to go in a couple of times a week. Unfortunately, I can no longer go there because the service is so appalling. It's always... More
