With its indomitable skiable terrain and angled slopes thatseem to sweep straight into the sea, the mountain is also reknowned for its impressivesnowfall with over 22 ft annually (669 cm). On your stop at the Mountain, why not try the new 7.5 km rodeling run on natural snow, and for expert skiers, explore close to 100 acres of off-trail terrain. After a previous failed attempt at skiing Le Massif (bad timing on our behalf), the second time was truly a charm. Arrived shortly after a bit of a freeze-thaw cycle and the skies opened up with 25cm of new snow over night. Fantastic skiing, top to bottom, uncrowded, clearly laid out, and great fall-line skiing. Worth the long drive from... More

We skied for three days on Ontario March Break. Although the weather was not the very best the snow and the mountain were. The ambiance on the mountain is the best I have ever seen. The staff is mostly local and very relaxed. Families were outside with full blown gourmet picnics and for those of us who were purchasing food... More

Went twice to Le Massif this winter. Snow conditions were just incredible. I was lucky enough to be there one day the Charlevoix run was open for skiing. WOW! The slopes are steep witj lots of choices with or without moguls. Not the best place to take young kids or for the novice skier. A bit pricier then the usual... More

I want to Le Massif in December 2011. Because of the weather, all the tracks weren't open, so they gave us a discount. That was a good start. But the tracks were good. But the best thing ... is THE location. While you're skiing you can see Baie St-Paul, and the St-Laurent... A really nice landscape ! Can't wait to... More

I have skied in the alps and I assure anyone that the massif has nothing to envy any larger or more touristic mountain. A little out of the way, the powder and the spectacular view make this a must destination for any avid skier. I would especially recommend this ski hill to those who enjoy powder and who posess a... It's worth going to Le Massif just for the view, but everything else is great as well. Even on a busy day, the trails are fairly open and the wait times are not too long. The gondola helps with keeping warm. The chalet is nice, but packed on a busy day. More

What a magnificent view, you think you will ski into the St-Laurence. Beautiful and varied hills for all levels. The lodge is superb with NO FAST FOOD and paintings on the walls, a classy ski area. Could use more grooming More

I have been skiing since the age of 2, for the past 26 years... I called Le Massif de Charlevoix on a Friday at 2pm before a big storm for two nights accomodation and two days of skiing for that weekend for myself and two friends. Friendly and helpful from the start, the toll free help line got me set... More

Every year, we go snowboarding at Le Massif, and always get the same great feeling: sport is intense, all little places like Baie St-Paul, Île-aux-Coudres are rejuvanating, and people there are so kind you want them your neibors. We'll keep on going there for years to come... More

This mountain has come a long way and continues to elevate itself. It is blessed with some of the best scenery anywhere. You enter the resort at the top of the mountain and ski down towards the St. Laurent river. There is something for everyone and all levels of skiiers. Also, the electronic ski pass system is stroke of genius... More
