This is a very nice park along the river; you can rent small boats/canoe/kayak and explore hundreds of islands on this calm river; you will encounter a lot of wildlife, including large birds, turtles, ducks, fish, eel, etc; I recommend the "Bayou", a place to navigate in a kayak/canoe in a swamp-like atmosphere, without the aligators...
