I'll preface this by saying that I'm a zoo snob. It's very small and there weren't that many animals; I couldn't believe how fast I walked through it. The walking paths were very small as well and it was very crowded, not enjoyable on a Saturday afternoon. If you're a zoo snob, you should definitely skip this, but if you... More

A la Billy Madison, don't for get to see the penguins. They are the happiest to see visitors. It's great to see 4 completely different habitats in one building. The one of the St. Lawrence is particularily good. You have that , tropical, boreal, arctic, and the St. Lawrence. All are good but the penguins love visitors and if you... More

Great way to spend the day with family. Arrival - best way to travel there is by the Metro (subway, not the sandwich), to Pie IX (Pee Neuf) or to Viau station. Subway drops you off right there and for Pie IX, you are already inside the Olympic Park. Bought the combo pass for the Stadium Tower and Biodome (cheaper... More

We loved the Biodome. My daughter is studying Biology at University and was very impressed with the 4 different eco-systems. She loved all the animals and birds and was especially impressed by the English presentation by a biologist about biodiversity in the auditorium More

On a chilly day, this was a chance for the kids to see lots of animals. We enjoyed the otters, trying to find the sloth and the penguins. More

The Biodome houses 4 different ecosystems in a sort-of kind of zoo-like atmosphere. The rainforest exhibit is really fun and realistic as the animals are very accessible and it feels less like a zoo and more like you're walking through a rainforest. There's also a cool underwater part of the tour, where you get to see lots of interesting (giant)... More

This place is good if there is nothing to do, but don't spend your time here if it is sunny out. I felt like there was not all that much to see. More

I went there almost 20 years ago (just after it opened) as a single adult, and yesterday as a mum of 2 daughters aged 13 and 81/2. I actually had more fun with the girls as they had to fill out a leaflet with all the birds they got to see in the 4 eco-systems which made it really interactive.... More
