A beautiful man-made island, accessible by bridge. It is in the center of the St Lawerence river, just off the south part of the island of Montreal, across from Old Montreal. Had the World Exibition there in 1967 and some of the old buildings remain.

Losts to do! Free admission- paid parking. So much to do! Super fun for both adults and kids! Village de Neige is awesome- worth seeing. Seriously awesome, boyfriend and I went for the day (no kids) and we had the best time! Cabane a sucre is awesome! Eat hot maple syrup on a popsicle stick cooled on the snow! Can't...

I love going to the island by Bike. There is easy access via downtown (pont de la concorde or pont Jacques Cartier) or the south shore (pont Victoria or pont Jacques Quartier). I like biking around Ille St-Helene and the neighbouring Ille Notre-Dame.
