A historic canal with parks on each side. A great place for walking and biking in the summer. Seasonal, of course.

This is an excellent choice of venue for someone who would like an afternoon or evening out without over-taxing. There is a bicycle path (step well away!), for those who like such things. Otherwise, this is a pleasant place to walk, and the Lachine Canal Fur Traders Museum is also worth a look.
