I adore this spot in Old Montreal. It is vibrant. There are many things to do. The science centre. The old clock tower. The boat rides. Having a picnic. Access to the museums. There is no end to photographic opportunities. More

The tower was closed during our visit but the area is good for strolling and capturing views of Old Montreal and the port. You need comfortable walking shoes as you will be walking for a while, great to combine this with the evening walking tour of Old Montreal. More

We like to go down to eat there (with/without our own lunch). Short walk from our office, and we get the 'fresh air'... The food court is not bad, really. More

Rent a bixi bike and drive around, great place for that. Bikes rental stations are everywhere in old-town, but it is not such a pleasure to ,,stroll" on a cobblestone streets. Here it is less crowded and more space to ride a bike. More

I DO recommend this place for walking, sitting on a bench on the dicks, rollerblading, biking etc. However, if you go there by car, parking is expensive for nothing. Again, I park elsewhere and walk there. FOOD is good. DRINKS are good. They have sangria, which I recommend. I bit expensive, as well. Some of the terraces EXPECT tips, make... More

In the summer time there is always something to see and do the Old Port. It's a great place to walk along the water, get some ice cream and enjoy the scenery. A small boat tour is also a great way to view the city from a different angle and very instructive. More
