Although not as big as the Jean Talon market (see my review), it is still worth visiting if you have a couple of hours to kill. Fresh bread, salads, fruits, cheeses, wines, a bit of everything. A definite must do when in Montreal. We bought food for a picnic and had the best meal of the trip with foods from this market. more
Good market to buy local foods. The bakery at the end of the market has excellent breads, pastries and coffee. We tried the baguette, croissants, fruit muffins and the cafe au lait, all which were excellent. There is a seating area as well. The market also has local fresh produce at decent prices.
