We tried to climb it but word to the wise, don't climb while it is wet. Got great pictures and was nice hour spent looking around.

We were camping nearby and decided to drive out to Castle Butte. Beautiful! We climbed to the top for some breath-taking views. It was slippery climbing due to the recent rain. One of the coolest experiences I've had! Although its a little hard to find, Castle Butte is a beautiful hidden gem, and a stand out in Big Muddy! Exploring the caves within it, or climb the 200-foot high (70-metres) sandstone rock. It is amazing!
