The Yukon Suspension Bridge is located on mile 46 of the South Klondike Highway. It is a pedestrian cable suspension bridge spanning 67ft over the Tutshi River Canyon. It is a major tourist attraction to visitors from both Skagway, AK and Whitehorse, YT.

We were on a road trip from Skagway towards White Horse and so the four of us stopped at the signs for the suspension bridge. The person at the main entrance ushered us into the very busy gift shop to buy tickets. Tickets it turned out was about US$13 per person after taxes/exchange rates were taken into account. Dear Traveler,
It is unfortunate that you felt this way about our facility with out even going in. The bridge is a visitor attraction, so there has to be an entrance fee in order to maintain the upkeep of the site.

What a unique place! Located on the South Klondike hwy we stopped in on our way to Alaska. The bridge is over the Tutshi river, with scenic views of Tutshi mountain. I couldn't stop taking pictures. We even got to see rafters coming down the river!

If you want to walk on a suspension bridge, and see some mountain scenery, then this is for you. There is nothing very Yukon about this bridge. If you wanted to be a tourist and see something associated with the Yukon, go on other tours.
