I found this a wast of time. Simply put three buildings (re)built three years ago loosely in the village uncle Ho was born. No doubt just what the locals need but as a westerner on holiday my time could have been better spend elsewhere.

Not actually in Vinh, about 20 - 30 minute drive away. Judging by the size of the car park, it can get very, very busy here. However, when we went, the place was pretty much empty. About a 170,000 dong taxi ride (each way - Mai Linh) from Vinh City center is Ho Chi Minh homeland. Make sure the taxi driver hangs around otherwise you'll have to phone to get another one to take you back. Entrance fee: Foreigners have to pay (5000 dong comes to mind) but Vietnamese have free entry.
