We took our two boys, 8 and 12, to Camp Richardson Corral for their first horseback rides. They offer an easy one hour ride up a slight incline to a view of the lake and then back down along a beautiful wooded trail. My family vacationed in South Lake Tahoe a couple years ago. Me, my husband and two teenage sons spent a couple wonderful hours horseback riding with the guide from the Camp Richardson Corral. We didn't have to be a part of a big group, we were allowed to go privately with our own guide. Which made it all the better... more
