One of the better state park locations in all of California. It has a .5 mi trail that has one walk through the ecosystems of Lake Tahoe. There is a ranger hut staffed with very informative and friendly rangers. Great viewpoints and very descriptive and informative signage can be found along the trail. While people of all ages and walking abilities can enjoy this location, our family of young and teenaged children love it alot! There are very plesant trails, none over .5 mile, with hands on activities like measuring water flow with a gallon sized bucket and signs shaped like puzzle pieces to teach the ecology of the area.
