Upon arrival to our base in Akumal, you will be greeted by our team for check-in. Before departure, you will undergo a safety briefing and be introduced to your guides who will accompany you on the tour. Before leaving, you will be able to test-drive your ATV to make sure you are comfortable and familiar with the vehicle, and feel sure of yourself. Once everyone has given their "thumbs-up", were off! The tour departs Akumal and heads directly into the jungle over dirt roads and through rustic Mayan paths to our private nature reserve. You will get to ride over terrain that is challenging enough for even the most experienced riders, but easy enough for beginners to maneuver at their on pace. After riding for about 45 minutes, we arrive at our very own private nature reserve where we will visit pristine caverns.

I have tried several ATV trips in the area but Jungle Jims has proven to be the best of them all. lots of fun and the guides are great.

Not sure if it was Jim's in particular but ATVs were the best way to explore. we Met the MONOs (Monkeys) Talking Birds (Parrots) wild Boar, Pythons, Cave swimming and more.

We went on Feb. 15th 2012 and we had a blast! We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel. When we arrived in Akumal, they gave us a quick run through of how to work everything - the ATVs are semi-automatic so no clutch and there is even a gear for people (like me) who are shift retarded...

Liked driving the ATV but was mostly along the highway and not through the jungle..lots of trash along the path, cenote was beautiful, and cave in the nature preserve was awesome

Great time. The machines were in good shape and there was no lack of speed. We were lucky to go after a big rain, so lots of puddles to whip through. There were 12 people on our trip to Aktun Chen. Had to wait a few times for the slower riders at the back on the way in. On the...

Donot book on line with this tour......we canceled, due to storm and a month later still have not received our refund, they sure took our money fast,,,,but put up a fight returning it.....beware...

Brilliant day- collected from hotel, given great instruction then a private tour of the area- just us & 'Chico' - the brilliant guide. Really great fun - not laughed so much for ages and great to get off the resort and see some of the area. Tip- take swimming gear- cenotes you visit are amazing.
