A charming National Trust property.The manor house has a lot of history,the grounds very attractive.The shop has some lovely things.The food prepared in the restaurant was very tasty.The guides are knowledgeable and friendly.All in all a place to visit and as it isn't very big not as tiring as some. We had a guided walk of the garden with Roger, a volunteer who was interesting and amusing. They run several walks a day and you get to see the old Mill Pond if you do this as you are unable to gain access on your own. More

One of the very best National Trust properties we have visited to date. Stunning house, beautiful grounds and garden.
