The Tour last ed for a least an hou, ours lasted 1 1/4hrs. The french guide was very accomodating and spoke excellent english.The Prehistoric painiting was a stabdout for us.
The site has bathrooms and picnic tables to enjoy a snack or lunch by the river if you BYO. e

The Grottes are very interesting to visit. The cave paintings are easy to see once the guide points them out and they are incredible when you realize how old they are.
The complaint I have is that the guided tour is only available in French while at least 1/2 of the visitors do not speak French well enough to understand...

We arrived at a good sized car park and walked up a short slope to the entrance. You buy a ticket and then wait for the next guided tour.The small entrance shop has drinks and snacks for sale. The first stop inside the cave is a display of its origins and history. The Tour is in French after all it...
