Lets get one thing out of the way - This is not really a place to take small children and its not a "petting zoo". The tour is either a 2 mile walk or a fifteen minute mini walk for those less able/ interested. We took the 2 mile Alpaca trail and the weather was kind allowing us to see... More

We took our 6 year old son here over the Easter weekend and felt this was a total and utter waste of money. We vistited The Alpaca Park on the first weekend of April and felt extremely welcome, so much so that we revisited during our stay. The grounds are stunning and perfect for a leisurely stroll through the woodlands and riverside areas. The animals are just fantastic, who wouldn't love alpacas?! We spent a lovely couple of hours here on a cold and dreary December afternoon. The owners and staff were welcoming and knowledgeable and the Tea Room is just perfect with wonderful fare.
