I took a half day class learning how to cook Thai foods, the basic ones like pad thai and curry. Our group had so much fun and the teachers were great, very informative. I didn't believe that I made those foods myself at the end of the day. We also got a little certificate and a book of recipes. Definitely... More

Took part in a morning class this week and had such a fantastic time. The ladies who run the classes are lovely and have really good English so communication is no barrier. We got to choose the dishes we made and alter them according to taste for example if you wanted spicer food or no meet, it was really flexible.... More

My boyfriend and I signed up for the morning cooking class which includes preparation of 6 items, a trip to the market to buy fresh ingredients, recipe book, and a certificate. We have been in Thailand for over a month and some of the food we made in the course was the best we ever had: the best pad thai,... More

We were able to attend in the middle of May, when there aren't very many tourists, and had the entire school to ourselves. Our instructor (See) was amazing, and we learned so much hands-on stuff that we now have a monthly "Thai Night" at our home in Colorado. Green curry chicken, coconut chicken soup, Spring Rolls, Cashew chicken, pad thai... More

The class was very fun and interesting. We learnt how to make about 4 courses of easy common Thai meals in the space of about 4 hours. The school was good value for money, and includes a cook book and certificate once the school is completed. More

I chose this class after reading many reviews in trip advisor. Most of the schools have good reviews and the reason I chose this one was because it was the cheapest class offering the same thing. I had the half day course, paid 600 baht/person, and it was a great choice. I wanted to do the whole day, but was... More

After hearing that Chiang Mai was a great place to take cooking courses, my friends and I chose Thai Cottage's cooking school after looking at many other places. Their rates are lower than most places we checked out and Kat, our instructor-to-be, was very friendly and clear about what to expect before we signed up for a half day of... More

I love cooking and perhaps therefore I have always had some sort of mistrusting when it comes to cooking schools since there are so many things that could ruin the experience. Thai Cottage Home Cookery School, however, changed my oppinions about cooking schools: The chef himself appeared to have a good knowledge in both cooking and teaching cooking in a... More

We had a really great afternoon at Thai cottage. There was only 2 of us in the group so was really personal and we learnt a lot. Started off with a tour of the Market and shown some of the ingredients we would be using as well as given alternatives if we couldn't find them in England. We cooked 4... More
