We visited the aquarium in mid October and a lot of the attractions were not available. The wetlands were drained, you couldn't get to the polar bears or the harbor seals because of construction. We did get to visit the main building which was nice. If we were ever in the area again in the summer we would go back.... more

The admission was pricey and all the animals looked miserable (as they were crammed into overly small enclosures). I would definitely not recommend this for a rainy day, as most of the exhibits are outside. The only high point was the touch-tank. more

The Parc Aquarium du Quebec (run by SEPAC) is worth a visit if you are in the Quebec City area. Polar bears, seals and walrus are there too! Special 'tide pool' where young and old can touch live creatures, tunnel-passage through a giant sea-water tank, lots of well-presented exhibits -- AND, two giant playgrounds (one very shady) each with picnic... more

I had a package for the aquarium that leave you follow an animal keeper for half a day. I fed a bear, hold a grand-duc (Owl) for at least 10 min, got kissed by a walrus and the seals jumped and sang as i asked them. I spent the rest of the day at the aquarium watching plenty of beautiful... more

If you have kids who are tired of churches and forts, the aquarium is a great idea. Who doesn't like polar bears and seals? It is also off the beaten tourist track where you will be visiting with more locals than tourists. more

I like zoos so we decided to visit this one while in Quebec City. It's called an aquarium but has a variety of animals and is somewhat overpriced because it's quite small when compared to other zoos. The place is quite accessible by bus from downtown Quebec City, however, bring an umbrella or raincoat on rainey days. more

My husband and I were initially put off by the older review (ca. 2003-2004), however decided we would go in any case. The aquarium must have revamped quite a bit since those reviews were written, because we found it to be a delightful place. We enjoyed the creative outdoor habitats, and the animals appeared to be enjoying themselves. The seals... more

This is a nice little aquarium run by the Quebec Government. It was clean and the people who worked there were helpful. They have seals, walrus and polar bears in the outside pools/enclosures and inside there are examples of fish and other aquatic critters that live in the lakes and rivers of Quebec. It's not that big that you have... more

The aquarium does not represent good value -- either for your money or for the displays presented. Small, sad displays of seals and a lonely polar bear. The location is nice; the grounds are nice; the rest can be missed. Check out the Biodome in Montreal for a better option. more

We spent the day in Old Quebec and thought a visit to the Aquarium would be nice. DO NOT BOTHER! It cost us $24/person to see a small tank of 12 inch salmon, poorly treated polar bears and some sad looking seals. You can see more at your local fish market. They should be shut down! more
