The view from this lookout is simply amazing. We drive a lot, and we've been to many scenic locations. This is one of the best in North America.

I must admit I am rather surprised this is listed on Tripadvisor....
It is a layby by the side of the road that ascends up a cliff from which you can look from high down at Osoyoos Lake and the town of Osoyoos. There are no facilities apart from a waste bin.

Just east of the town of Osoyoos (pop: 4,500) is Anarchist Mountain. Highway #3 winds its way up the mountain in a series of hairpin turns. Along the way, there are a few turnouts where you can safely park your vehicle and take in the awesome views of the valley and Lake Osoyoos. This is a great place to take...
