This is a don't miss nature trail/boardwalk about 3km long. It goes through and around beaver ponds and dams. The family of all ages will love it. We saw several beavers working away. Very well done. More

What can I say..this was brilliant-we went at wrong time of day to see any beavers but we saw plenty of evidence(dams, tracks etc). It's amazing to think it was done by volunteers- it was well kept, clean and much bigger than we anticipated. We will definitely return. :-) More

We came y across this attraction by mistake, decided to have a walk around, the board walk was very extentive, no beavers in site, but interesting all the same with Beaver nests, tracks and chewed off trees, we put this together ourselves, no written information, apart from the end of our trail written warnings for bears and cougars. worth a... Unfortunately none of the info tells you the beavers are most active morning & dusk. We saw the evidence of the beavers which was very interesting, however we missed seeing a beaver, a sad result considering the hour drive we made just to see them! More

Alberta, Canada. Off the Beaten Path. Jasper. Canadian Rockies Sept. 2011 Jasper area and “sticker-shock” at the prices of lodging and food. Moon Travel guide for the Rockies noted Hinton as a low-cost alternative. It is a scenic 1 hr drive on 16 east of Jasper. Good stay at NovaLodge next to Safeway, WalMart, fast food. We went to the...
