Great food and terrific service. Surrounded by windows overlooking the Purcell, Selkirk and Rocky Mountains. Can't be many places on earth as inspiring and beautiful.
We recently visited Kicking Horse Mountain Resort to go on the ranger assist program & visit Boo the grizzly bear, to hear the tragic story on how Boo was orphaned was so sad but to see how the resort has built this fantastic purpose built enclosure was incredible. We done the ranger assist program as we arrived out of season... More
The food was fresh and would highly recommend people to try the Burgers, the staff were extremly friendly and polite.
I have been skiing Kicking Horse mountain resort ever since it opened. We actually moved from the Bow Valley to Golden because of it. Between the terrain, the snow accumulation, and access to the back country for some ski touring this resort is world class. My favorite for sure. :)
Best hill in canada. Best terrain! I wanna live there. Snow is awesome. Mostly, it's nice to have a hill with terrain that can challenge. Needs a couple more lifts. The bottleneck at the gondola can be rough.

Something for Everyone, Birds of Prey show was great this summer, boys went kids downhill biking, bungy trampoline at base, ladies went hiking, and lunch for everyone at the top or the base. I recommend lunch at the base, I think it was called Peaks, service and food was good.
I only ride this hill in the summer but for downhill biking it is awesome. All the features are very well thought out and maintained. The trails are well kept and if you are looking for steep challenging runs Kicking Horse has everything you want. They don't have all the terrain Whistler offers but what they have is second to... Went here on a business trip to participate in the Canadian Avalanche and Rescue Dog Association school. I am an avalanche dog handler and came with my dog to Kicking Horse. Spent the week training and learning and enjoyed the facilities and staff, especially the Kicking Horse Ski Patrol. Great guys and gals with loads of experience including backcountry rescue... More
It was a very pricey trip up the mountains for some sightseeing, but still highly enjoyable. The view from the top is incredible. We spent a couple of hours at the top, taking in the sights. We did not, however, visit the restaurant, as a wedding was taking place. The private ride up in the gondola is nice (as opposed... More
