I love their open houses, cake walks, school programs, and hands on activities. One of the best "small" museums around, with a diverse assortment of displays.

This place is not advertized enough for people coming through the area, this is such a high quality museum for such a small town. Well done to the staffing.

Focus on fossils and paleontology, but also a nice display of the history of the area

A little museum that hasn"t been jazzed up. Quiet, non stressful and interesting, especially if yoy like dinosaurs. Look at your on pace and enjoy
neat exhibits.

Best collection of fossils in any small museum anywhere, including an elasmosaurus. Pretty good native exhibit, along with the usual 'town fathers' (and mothers). Donation.

This is a small museum, as is to be expected in a small town, and the exhibits are of surprising high quality. They have the aforementioned elasmosaur, as well as a variety of fossils, a lung-fish (which my son thought was even cooler than the elasmosaur) and a nice first nations exhibit on the second level.
Admission is by donation...
