A great place for a day trip from Victoria! Try the mead (adults only of course), taste the honey (yummy) and check out the apiary (that's bee talk for hives). Of course, don't go home without a bottle or two of mead (Kickass Currant was my fave, cool name too) and some honey (we got some beeswax too). More

The tasting room at Tugwell Creek is super clean and nicely laid out. Great hospitality and explanation of the workings of the honey farm and how mead is made. The family that fun Tugwell Creek are friendly, warm and hospitable. Great place to spend some quality time learning about mead, honey and the local area around Sooke. More
