There are various hikes or snowshoe or crosscountry ski trails. You can choose long or short, The creek is pretty, and there is a variety of scenic triails up small mountains or you can stay on the lowland.

Bragg Creek if you havent been, is a great place to visit from Calgary for the day, or longer if you have the means to camp in the area. There's hiking nearby, kayaking, rafting and of course Elbow falls, which everyone should visit at least once. When you're tired of the outdoors the town of Bragg Creek is a lovely...

This is a great little park for short hikes alongside a mountain stream, through a wooded area. Great place for a picnic, to fly a kite or to relax beside a fire. Restrooms are clean and there is plenty of parking.
