This was our third trip to Normandy and had visited the museum in 2010. Knowing it was re-done recently, we made a point to visit again. What a great job! One of the highlights in Normandy and there are many. More

You need minimum 2hrs to visit and when in one day one must do the whole US sector of the beaches, then you cannot do it. Only when you have a 2 day-tour. Great area dedicated to father of David Dewhurst/Lt Gov. Of Texas who was a generous donator. His dad was a pilot who flew over Utah on D-Day. More

Still being constructed. Go to the beach, see the 800 yards troops had to cross to get to the sand dunes. Really makes you appreciate the heroism of everyone involved. More

It is a great museum with a big variety of memories, from the tanks outside to simple letters of soldiers. I went on a rainy day, not the best option to view everything outside, but still it was a very good visit. More

Re-opened this past summer after total renovation and the expansion to house a B-26 this is a totally new museum. Exhibits and artifacts have been upgraded and augmented with some great audio and visual aids. Like other facilities in Arromanches, Pegasus Bridge, and Juno Beach the Utah Beach Museum is situated in the heart of the area of action. After... More

This is a fantastic museum located on the site of the Utah Beach landings in June 1944. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and offer tours to visitors in either French or English. The exhibits are very informative and the staff informed us that they are doing updates to include more videos. I hope to return one day and see the... More

It was quite new or newly redone. Outside was artillery gun, tank, missile and those criss-cross anti-tank things. (my 9 yr old is the expert) It was €7.50 per adult, €3 for 7 - 15 yrs. and the 6 & 3 yr old were free. It is closed in December and January. We were only going to Utah Beach and... More

Great museum features vehicles and equipment used in the D-Day and follow-on operations. It also incorporates personal stories - even a love letter an admiral wrote to his wife just before the invasion. Allow a few hours to explore. We got here towards the end of the day and did not have enough time. The museum is bigger than it... More
