Sorry, went for a blast last Sunday on Blue trail and over the road to the Red trail...??? What Red trail, got there early went round twice, and just about broke a sweat. Cafe nice if you don't mind all the posers in the latest fashions with their nice totally clean bikes, that didn't even have dust on them.

Ashton Court is one of those lovely places you can walk around for ages. It's sometimes packed, such as when the Balloon Fiesta is on, but at other times, it's a great place to take a picnic, some friends, a frisbee and just relax.

Par 3 golf, woodland walks, gardens, miniature railway, mountain bike trails, woods, deer park, mansion, huge balloon festival and kite festival, views over Bristol and surrounding country all set in 850 acres. Need I say more?

Nice place to park (new charges for parking are imminent) and stroll across wonderful parklands. Mansion house can be viewed, I believe, which is now used for weddings etc.

Ashton Court is on the edge of Bristol and almost opposite the Clifton Suspension Bridge. However there are two different entrances so if you are meeting someone there as we have done in the past, make sure you both go to the same entrance and car park, as they are miles away from each other. It is a wonderful place...

Located on the outskirts it has stunning views across to Dundry. The house itself is looking less attractive that it's heyday but the grounds and trees are wonderful to walk around. With the added attraction of a small golf course it's a very pleasant place to spend time.
