The Museum is run by the local council (Bristol) and so not to see on a second visit as not alot changes - fantastic grounds though with streams valleys and a good playground free parking and a cafe in the car park More

We did this on our way home. We were there about 2hrs. The parking is free which is unheard of in the UK. We walked up hill to the "Castle" and were surprised how small it was. Out for a walk on a sunday, park at the bottom , walk up, waltz round the house. Is the grounds that make the place special, horse riding around the estate is a must, the museum is informative if a little lack lustre. More
