The Museum is run by the local council (Bristol) and so not to see on a second visit as not alot changes - fantastic grounds though with streams valleys and a good playground free parking and a cafe in the car park

We did this on our way home. We were there about 2hrs. The parking is free which is unheard of in the UK. We walked up hill to the "Castle" and were surprised how small it was. It took about 20 mins to walk up. They have a fantastic playground for the kids. You could have a picnic. Recommend getting...

Out for a walk on a sunday, park at the bottom , walk up, waltz round the house. Is the grounds that make the place special, horse riding around the estate is a must, the museum is informative if a little lack lustre.

A lovely day out, lots of pretty walks, a small castle, a museum and all free! The lovely Blaise Hamlet is just 5 minutes away and well worth a look. Free plenty of free parking.
