For families, for friends, for sad people, for happy people. It's a bit like a bottle of good Champagne and suits all moods. A local treasure.

What an enjoyable day we all had. We will be back again very soon. The animals were great and the kids loved every minute. GREAT!!
As a child, going to Bristol zoo was a treat.I had lovely memories of the animals and lazy sunny days there.......First time to take the grandson today, so excited but the excitement didn't last long.Everything seemed grubby , run down and in need of huge renovations. As for the animals, well thank goodness for the seals, that was the only tine...

I love Bristol zoo! Went there this year and got to see everything. I like the new Lorakeet attraction where you can feed them. A good range of animals and fun things to do, with talks and feeding times. At the moment they have a Dinosaur exhibition on so there are lots of large, moving dinosaurs dotted around the park...

Great day out with the kids. Of course the obvious attractions are the big cats and the superb gorilla island, but the creepy-crawly house is also a goosepimply must-see. Great day out take a picnic as food expensive but if you have the money the food is ok,if it rains there is a lot of cover but aim for a sunny day.
Spent bank holiday Monday at the Zoo with my 5 year old and we both really enjoyed it. The weather certainly helped!
He loved the dinosaurs and the Splash area (next time I'll take bathers and a towel).
We listened to an informative talk about gorillas and watched the feeding. Yes, the gorilla house is currently closed - but I...
