It's a lovely place. I visited with a two year old who wasn't so keen on it. I would say slightly older or not so sensitive children would enjoy it more, as my little girl found it a little overwhelming. Will try again though, hopefully this year will be a better experience for her.

I have been to Horseworld several times now and always have a really good time. It does not matter what age you are. I especially love being able to touch the animals and being able to brush them. Well done Horseworld for leaving out brushes for this experience. The staff (and most of them are volunteers) are always cheerful and...

I work at a Day centre for Elderly people, and we organised trips out to Horseworld for a week. The staff at Horseworld were absolutely brilliant, they couldn't help us enough we had a table reserved at the restaurant every day with plenty of access for wheelchairs. The touch and groom was enjoyed thoroughly by all of our service users,...

Visited recently with my 10 year old daughter, her friend and mum using a Groupon voucher. The girls were really excited and when we arrived I thought the outside looked extremely welcoming. The staff at reception were very friendly. It was an inset day so the only other visitors were families with toddlers.
We went straight out into the yard...

Expensive. Group went and staff were happy for us to sit and paint in the conservatory provided we ate - we had very nice coffee and cakes at reasonable price, chatty happy staff. What IS expensive is admission to see the rescued horeses etc. H.W lost out there as we would have gone around if, say, it cost us (OAPs)...

We were pleased to hear you enjoyed your visit to HorseWorld and that the meals were of good quality, reasonably priced and served by friendly staff. However, we were slightly puzzled that you thought the admission price for OAPs was £9 when our concession price is actually £6.25.
The only price we have around £9 is the £8.95 we charge...

There are horses of all sizes from Shetland ponies to work horses and donkeys. They have all been rescued or come to the centre because owners could no longer care for them. It is very "hands on" with talks, demonstrations and a chance to groom a pony. Some of the resciue stories are unbelieveable. There is a small café and...

Went to horseworld with our 7 year old and 2 year old sins at the weekend and were sorely disappointed. Seeing the horses was lovely but there really wasn't a lot to it. The horses, although looked after, were in desperate need of some good old fashioned grooming. Apart from Samuel the shire, the rest looked thoroughly depressed and whilst...
