A nice building with a few things going on and I imagine if you like that type of art then it would be great- and a lot of people there seemed to be enjoying themselves. But it's not really for me- might give it another go when different exhibits are there. More

Popped along today. It was free to get in, which is possibly the only plus point. This is evidently the type of place that features exhibitions that are frankly rubbish. Sure you could argue that all art is subjective but when part of an exhibition is just a load of chairs and tables in a room then you know someone... More

I love popping into the cafe bar, whether it's for a cup of tea or plate of pasta. Standard of food is great, atmosphere is always friendly with an unpretentious vibe. It's also the perfect spit for sitting outside on a sunny evening watching the world go by. Never had a bad experience and will continue to return for years... More

The Arnolfini is somewhere I've been to a few times, most recently in July 2010. They always have a nice variety of things to do and see - for example I went to an excellent German film evening a few years ago and in my most recent visit there was an intimate collection of Louise Bourgeois paintings. I would definitely... More

Visited bristol again recently & called into the Arnolfini. A freezing cold day, but then cafe bar hire blankets & serve this superbHot Apple & Ginger drink so you can keep warm & watch the boats go by. The staff are really friendly & I love wandering around the galleries even though I am not really into art. It's in... More

We spent an hour or so in the Arnolfini looking at contemporary art relating to data and computers. It was very interesting in parts although we didn't get all of it. I agree completely with another reviewer that every region should have something like this. In Birmingham we have the Ikon which displays similar work but is housed in a... More

Surely a major international ranking arts centre. its a good place to go for the good cafe and bookshop but mostly for the regular exhibitions, performances, including dance, films, music and lots more. Accessible, friendly and always welcoming. Every city or regional centre should have one of these. I hope the government spending cuts will not clip its wings too... More
