We visited 2 floors of M shed, showing the history of Bristol, through time, the areas and the people,it obliges in telling the role of individuals involved in the slave trade. Was it worth all the money revamping what was there before?, for me I do not think so but this should not detract from what is on offer. More

M shed was ok, we found the layout to be rather confusing and it didn't take us long to get round it all. We probably wouldn't go back. More

I was very positively surprised with the this museum. It's a very good source of knowledge about Bristol. You can see how it changed in years and also how peoples life were affected by little and big things. More

I was wary that this museum wouldn't be as good as it's predecessor. I needn't have worried. Full of interesting artifacts arranged in a thought provoking manner. So good that I went back for a second look acouple of days later. More

My first visit to this, one of Bristol City Council's great museums, was a real surprise. On a rainy day, this is a good one for kids as it's very interactive and quite interesting re: Bristol Life and the history and heritage behind local people. More
