What a pleasant place to spend an hour or two in Springtime or Summer. Midsummer Common is a little piece of Middle England to savour a sunny day. First Saturday in June! If it's your kinda thing, it's awesome, personally, I love it. I've gone for years and will continue to go for years. If you have no idea what it is, get on their website, or just turn up, totally free and an awesome social day out More

One of the many great things about Cambridge is the central common land. Midsummer common starts a few minutes' walk from the centre - go to the end of King's Street and you'll see it (though strictly, this part of the common is called Butt Green). Walking along the tow path is a popular activity as is watching the world... More
