I have not experienced anywhere in the world a town like Cambridge and watching the activities of the people in the punts on the Backs. It has history and atmosphere. Wonderful. More

Fantastic punting in the dark tucked up in blankets. Gives a very different experience to punting in daylight and sunshine. Very Christmassy. More

The best view of Kings is from The Backs. A nice walk is to head down Senate House Passage, past Trinity Hall to the river and over the humped bridge, and then take a left once over the river to walk past Clare and Kings before looping back through Queens' into town. By far the one thing that you HAVE to do in Cambridge. Paid for a public punt manned by a student, which adds a nice touch. They'll take you through some of the history of the colleges as well. walking so close to the City centre but in an area where you can allow your cattle to roam free. The sights of the colleges and the quite laced with noise from the Punts, could be in Italy. More
