And I'm a big boy. This is the most wonderfully displayed museum with acres of hangers and display space. I cannot imagine anybody failing to be impressed and enthralled at some level. It is very professionally done. The highlights appear to be the Concorde and the Blackbird, the American stealth fighter. In between they have just about every plane you... More

I'm a memmber of the 'imperial War Museum Duxford', as it is brilliant! tours, tanks, a massive variety of planes and jets. You can even pay to have flight in 'the mosquito'. You can see 'the eurofighter typhoon', 'the concord', and much much more! the food is a little over priced so i reccomened you bring a packed lunch and... More

This was a day for leaving the girls at home, it's a huge and impressive collection of vehicles with a particular focus on military aeroplanes and a fair few commercial planes and military land vehicles to break things up a bit. We arrived at about 11 in the morning on a sunday and were a little surprised to see a... More

An ex-p[olceman friend of mine works at Duxford, more a hobby than anything else he rebuilds the planes that saved this Country from speaking German. It's part fo our heritage as much as historic family houses or the crown jewels get the kids to see it, may long it continue. More

My partner and I went a couple of weeks ago as he has always wanted to go and it's definitely worth a visit . I like planes, not overly, but this was just fantastic. The number of planes dating back to various wars was amazing. You get to go inside Concorde and a couple of other old passenger planes, which was... More

It's a few years since my last visit to IWM Duxford and I have to say how impressive some of the improvements are. The Airspace exhibition is excellent - a really impressive selection of British aircraft with the prototype Concorde being a real highlight. The architecturally brilliant US air force museum is also very very good - highlights for me... More

The whole place is family friendly and has things to spark imagination and inform. The volunteers there also all have a tale to tell and can enthrall apart from the exhibits! More
