My wife studied here and this was a trip down memory lane. The gardens are the best college gardens, in the best college, in the best University. I may be a little biased. Spring and Aug/Sept are peaks of colour but always worth a look at any time of the year.

I attended a musical evening one summer in the Fellows Garden with my wife, and we found it just magical. Clare College is very central and just walking across the bridge past the Garden is a great way to see the river and central Cambridge without some of the crowds.

The gardens are gorgeousThere are quite a lot of tropical plants.The colours were stunning.The gardens go right to the edge of the river Camb where you can watch people punting

Whilst walking around Cambridge, myself and hubby came to the gates of claire college gardens. We debated about whether to spend the £3 each to get in. How pleased i am we did.
